SEMA 2015: It’s About The Weight For JE Pistons

JE Pistons’ BBC Open Chamber FSR pistons are one of the most advanced BBC piston available today.

“We already had lightweight pistons in our FSR (forged side relief) line so it made sense to expand the line to include a lightweight gas ported BBC open chamber piston,” explained Jeremy Anderson. “This one is the most advanced big-block Chevy piston available.”

JE Pistons revolutionized piston design in the last few years with its 3D undercrown milling procedure that allows the design team to reduce weight by contouring the undercrown of the piston. This allows the weight to be placed where it is needed for strength.
