Project Superbad is going to be an awesome powerhouse designed to motivate LSX Magazine’s Project McLovin. We’re shooting for over 1,000 horsepower (conservatively) from a 3.0-liter Gen-5 Whipple supercharger and 427 cubic inches of all-aluminum LS3-based power. The plan isn’t just to cram a bunch of boost down the engine’s gullet, but to do so as efficiently as possible, by optimizing the valvetrain along the way.
