Super Suction: GZ Motorsport’s VP104 Vacuum Pump

Vacuum pumps can add horsepower, seal oil leaks, and are essential for making power in high-rpm naturally aspirated combinations. GZ Motorsports‘ compact design is great for space-limited cars and can pull up to 15-inches of vacuum. The VP104 is fully-rebuildable, too and GZ offers any replacement parts, if needed. Its smaller case, and moved inlet ports, makes it a perfect addition to an engine in a car with a small engine bay.

Official Release:

GZ Motorsports LLC is proud to announce the development and manufacture of our brand new Sportsman vacuum pump (VP102).

This brand new pump is patterned after our Super Pro vacuum pump (VP104) that we released to the market in December 2010 with a shorter case while maintaining or exceeding the performance level of our ever popular VP101 series pump that we have been retailing since 1995. The new VP102 is more versatile than the previous VP101 series as all the parts are replaceable by GZMS and it has inlet and outlet ports on the side (matching those of the VP104) as well as an inlet and outlet port on the back. This feature allows for many more installation conditions than previously available in the VP101 series pump, especially in street driven high performance vehicles, which often have limited space.

The new Sportsman vacuum pump will be especially suited for the LSX crowd where space is often very limited. The new VP102 pump comes polished with a GZMS logo on the front and will be supplied on an individual part basis with one straight to #10 AN Fitting and one 90 Degree to #10 AN fitting. The performance characteristics (free air flow and peak vacuum) of the new VP102 meet or exceed those of the VP101 series and will support high performance engines with up to 700 HP (or more) with 12 to 15 or more inches of pan vacuum and up to 22 CFM of airflow @ 5000 RPM.

Features:

  • Compact size
  • Pulls 15-inches of vacuum
  • Improved inlet/outlet positions
