Robust Shelby GT350 Voodoo Valvetrain Replacements For Big Power

When Ford rebooted the Shelby GT350, the company didn’t just put a different badge on existing engine. Instead, Ford Performance engineers went into the lab with the Coyote 5.0-liter and came out with a magical new powerplant — the 5.2-liter Voodoo engine. Designed to delivery the fat midrange and scintillating rev range that a road-course-oriented Mustang needs. With 526 horsepower on tap and an 8,200-RPM redline, the Voodoo engine is a potent performer right off the dealer lot.
