New from Kenne Bell – the 10-Rib Drive Belt System for 2011-17 Coyote 5.0L applications. This system can handle loads of horsepower while freeing up more horsepower. See more details below.
Official Release:
Large displacement superchargers deserve a drive system capable of delivering maximum horsepower. Kenne Bell’s new 10-Rib Drive ensures that you achieve the maximum output possible from our new 3.6, 4.2, 4.7 and 4.9-Liter KB Liquid Cooled superchargers when used in 2011-17 Mustang Coyote 5.0 Liter engine applications.
Through extensive testing both on track an on the dyno, Kenne Bell has compiled tremendous knowledge concerning the dynamics of supercharging from 50 years of automotive experience. In recent testing with the new KB 10-Rib Drive kit by Boostworks in Katy, TX., the Kenne Bell Drive was capable of handling 1349 RWHP and 1004 lb. ft. of torque with a 5.0-Liter Coyote-powered Mustang (running the 4.2-liter KB supercharger with Dual 106mm BIGUN inlet).
As an added benefit for street cars, Kenne Bell designed an Independent Alternator Drive (IAD), which utilizes a separate 4-Rib belt to drive the alternator. For all out racing, the system can be eliminated to bypass any horsepower loss. An optimized Kenne Bell/Mezierre electric water pump frees up another 26+ HP by totally eliminating pump parasitic loss.
