PRI 2016: World Products Lightweight Iron SBC Block

“For circle track guys, weight is everything,” said Dick Boyer of World Products, which was inspiration for its new lightweight iron SBC block. “For years World has had the strongest small-block Chevrolet block on the market.” The encore performance is the new Motown Pro-Lightweight SBC iron block. What makes this block unique is its use of 4,000 grade cast iron, which is 10,000 psi stronger than anything else on the market (according to Boyer) – allowing them to remove material where it is not needed.
