2003 4.6L FORD ENGINE: Project Engine Boring 4-Valve

The Boring 4-Valve is a 2003 Mach 1 engine that Ivan Korda got for a steal (the exact words we had for him when he first mentioned it to us were, “You’re on the way to pick it up, right?”). We had some fun naming the project, poking at a group of enthusiasts who only know about the Coyote, and are unaware of Ford’s original DOHC Modular engine platform. Dubbed “The Boring 4-Valve” we’re planning on achieving Coyote-like N/A performance, on a modest budget, while proving that pre-Coyote Four-Valves are anything but boring.
