Upping The Ante: VP Racing Offers Race Diesel For All Builds

The majority of truck owners are just truck owners and not horsepower and torque enthusiasts. But, maybe they just haven’t been bitten by the bug yet? You could turn your ordinary diesel truck into a fire-breathing machine by simply changing the fuel it burns. VP Racing Fuels is looking to take things to another level with their new race fuel, Torq DX.

Torq DX is a formulation that has been tested and proved to provide more power, more torque, and more consistent engine temperatures. After it’s debut, VP’s Torq DX represents the next generation in VP’s quest to develop top performing diesel racing fuels, according to Steve Burns, VP’s founder and director of R & D. “Our chemists and technical support staff worked with the top engine builders to fine-tune and test Torq DX and we’re very pleased with the results,” said Burns.

Jim Greenway, a known sled puller out of Missouri, has customized his own blend of premium diesel over the last 10 years. “Torq DX gave us a 30 horsepower increase on our 1,300 horsepower engine while slightly lowering engine temperatures and keeping them more consistent across the rpm range,” Greenway said. “I have no doubt that this fuel will offer superior performance in tractor pulling, drag racing, or any other diesel application.

From multiple sources, it’s been proven over and over again that the Torq DX will increase the horsepower of your diesel truck and give you that extra edge to either put you on the podium or just give you that boost you’re wanting when you want more oomph.

In addition to increased horsepower and torque, Torq DX will allow for extreme turbo pressure and readily accept power enhancing alcohol injection which is favored by some of the top professional pullers and racers.

Our friends at VP Racing have stepped into the diesel market with a precision made product and we are ecstatic to get our hands on some Torq DX. With the results that are already hitting the board, this is only the beginning of good things to come.
