Air Flow Research (AFR) is making waves in 2025 with the debut of its 200cc Small Block Chevy Enforcer cylinder heads. These heads are a game-changer for builders looking to get serious performance without blowing their budget. Designed for 350 to 400-cubic-inch engines running under 6000 RPM, they bring AFR’s signature quality to an affordable package.

What makes the Enforcer heads special isn’t just the price—it’s what they come packed with. You’ll find ARP rocker studs for reliability, racing springs for consistent performance, and Viton valve seals to keep everything running smoothly. AFR’s adjustable guide plates ensure your valves are perfectly aligned, while machined bead valve locks and hardened spring cups add durability. The one-piece 8mm 21-4N stainless steel valves are tough enough to handle whatever you throw at them.

AFR knows that every builder is different, so the Enforcer heads are available either fully assembled for convenience, or bare for those who want to customize their setup. To fit a variety of engine combinations, they’re offered in straight and angled plug configurations, giving you flexibility for your build.

Performance numbers don’t lie, and the Enforcer heads deliver. With a 69cc combustion chamber, 198-200cc intake port volume, and 74cc exhaust port volume, they’re built to flow. AFR’s flow testing shows intake numbers peaking at 265 cfm at .550 lift and exhaust flow hitting 200 cfm—serious performance for street or track setups.

Ordering is simple. Straight plug heads are available as part numbers 1011 (assembled) and 1012 (bare), while angled plug options are listed as 1016 (assembled) and 1017 (bare). Each head is sold individually, so you’ll need two per engine.

Whether you’re building your first small block Chevy or upgrading a trusted setup, these heads deliver everything you need without compromise. In 2025, AFR’s Enforcer heads are set to become the must-have choice for budget-friendly power and reliability.
