SEMA 2022: Build It Better With BluePrint Engines

All projects need a strong heartbeat, whether in the form of a healthy factory spec-built engine or a top-of-the-line high-horsepower monster. BluePrint Engines has built its reputation on producing high-quality crate engines to power customs, hot rods, kit cars, and just about any other projects a person can come up with.

The 427 cubic-inch LS3 from BluePrint engines can be ordered to suit your needs. Carbureted or fuel-injected, polished or satin black pulley kits, and supercharged are just a few of the many options available.

If you’re not needing a complete engine, BluePrint Engines offers everything from short-blocks to long-blocks as well. You can even order your engine carbureted if fuel injection isn’t your cup of fuel. For horsepower junkies, BluePrint Engines offers both a 376 and 427 cubic-inch LS with a supercharger. The 427 is rated at 800 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of torque while the 376 makes an impressive 700 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque.

With the Builder Series, you get transmission options to pair with your BluePrint Engines power plant. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available, and make BluePrint a one-stop shop for your powertrain needs.

In addition to complete ready-to-drop-in crate engines, BluePrint has the Builder Series that pairs its many engines with your choice of either a T56 or a TKX manual if three pedals and rowing gears are what you’re after. If you just want to put it in drive and cruise, you can order your LS engine with either a 4L80E or  4L65/70E.

This LS 376 is optioned with a supercharger from Whipple Superchargers along with the blacked-out pully kit. It is also mated to a 4L80E transmission as part of BluePrint's Builder Series.

Oftentimes, these crate engines wind up being less expensive and much less of a headache when compared to rebuilding a factory engine. You can rest assured that when your big wooden crate arrives your BluePrint bullet has been meticulously assembled, vigorously checked, and dyno-tested to ensure that you can drop it in your project and be up and running as quickly as possible without worry.
