For over 60 years, Derale Performance has been in the business of keeping things cool. Whether it’s your engine oil, coolant, transmission, or even differential, you can be sure that Derale has a cooler that will bring temperatures down to the proper operating temperature.
This year, the team at Derale decided to show off some of its products at SEMA by attaching them to something other than a display board: they were attached to a gorgeous 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT that spent much of the year being put together.
The car will be part of another feature coming up soon, with highlights of the Derale components that were added to this track-ready build. And you can be sure that when President Tom Longo hits the track with the Cyclone, we’ll be in the tailwind getting some pictures of the event.
Derale also announced in a press release recently that US Motor Works, LLC (USMW), has acquired the assets of Derale Performance and Pacer Performance from the parent company CP Auto Products. Derale and US Motor Works will work together to keep providing cooling products to the automotive aftermarket, including water and fuel pumps manufactured by USMW, in addition to the many coolers available from this partnership.
From a recent press release: “Both Tom Longo, President of CP Auto Products, Inc. and Gil Benjamin, President & CEO of US Motor Works, LLC have had a strong commercial relationship since 1999, when US Motor Works acquired the Derale Fan Clutch manufacturing division from CP Auto Products.”
Both companies have been working together for years, and Customer Support Specialist with Derale, Eric Chaputa, stated, “I’m really excited to see what this brings. We’re virtually neighbors, so this is good for both of us.”
You can find out more about the line of cooling products on the US Motor Works and Derale Performance websites, and expect much more coolness to come your way.
