Prolong is making life a little less complicated for diesel truck owners who have big gas tanks with the introduction of a concentrated commercial formula of its Fast Fuel injector cleaner and fuel system treatment.

“A 12-ounce bottle will treat up to a 120 gallons,” says Prolong’s Jon Apogee.

The formula is compatible with all grades of diesel fuel and will not void manufacturer warranties. It fully meets Cummins L-10 and N-14 fuel additive specs for injector cleaning and corrosion protection.

Prolong also showed off an extended-life formula of its Engine Treatment. It’s designed for newer vehicles that offer longer oil-change intervals up to 12,000 miles.

“Our regular formula is good for 6,000 miles,” explains Apogee. “Many customers with late-model cars and trucks were concerned about adding the Engine Treatment before the next oil change. This new extended-life formula solves that problem.”

The Engine Treatment is designed to help protect against friction and heat buildup. It will work in both gas and diesel applications.

Finally, Prolong is introducing a full synthetic engine oil that contains the company’s Engine Treatment additives for additional protection. Called AFMT+, or anti-friction metal treatment, the formula works to minimize wear and tear on the engine’s internal parts. Prolong’s strategy is treat the metal parts of the engine with bonding lubricants to improve performance, not just treat the oil.

The first two viscosities are 5W-30 and 15W-40.
