“We got the new LT4 Fluidampr coming out for the LT4 Camaro and the CTS-V engines. That is something available now to order. This replaces the stock rubber bonded damper. When you are running high horsepower and high rpm continuously, the rubber in those dampers will wear out, especially when you are running high heat applications like most race cars do. Or even racing a street car, you run at an elevated temperature so the rubber wears out even faster.”
“What the Fluidampr gives you, is a design that works a lot better with the high temperature in the high-performance applications. This will last the life of the vehicle and will be the last damper you ever have to buy and never has to be rebuilt.”
How Does A Fluidampr LT4 Performance Damper Help?

“What this does is smooths out your engine harmonics and frees up your engine efficiency.
So you are not losing horsepower to vibrations, and actually reducing your main bearing wear. You actually receive more accurate timing out of it as well. It is also SFI rated, so if you are drag racing, it meets SPEC 18.1 standards which allows you to pass tech.”
