Dynojet’s new Dynoware RT electronic control module and accompanying PowerCore software suite mark a significant upgrade for customers using the company’s chassis dynomometers.

“These will be shipping with all new dynos by the end of the month,” says Will Fong, Dynojet’s sales manager. “They can also be retrofitted to existing dynos.”

The DynoWare RT is necessary to run the new PowerCore software, which incorporates WinPEP 8 dyno control and dyno analysis programs. Some features of the WinPEP 8 include:

• Selectable rpm source used for logging/load control
• Selectable air/fuel data source
• Channel support for popular non-Dynojet tuning platforms
• Editable gauge screen
• Wireless and network capability
• Load up to 12 dyno runs or data logs, each containing up to 40 channels
• Sychronize data channels
• Fully custom options for viewing and printing
• Backwards compatible to previous WinPEP runs

The DynoWare RT consists of a single main control module with expansion ports to handle additional data acquisition needs.

“The old style needed several different modules stacked up to support any expansion,” says Fong. “Now it’s all in one package.”

Standard features on the DynoWare RT include:

• Ethernet and wireless communications
• 10-button pendant for remote control
• Two atmospheric sensor inputs, two inductive rpm inputs, two optical rpm inputs

Numerous accessories are available for the system, including OBDII data-link, infrared temperature sensor, remote atmospheric sensor, optical rpm sensor and EZ-RPM module. Dynojet also offers AFR-2, which supports dual wideband O2 sensor inputs.
