SEMA 2024: Summit Racing’s New Billet Intake Manifold For LS Engines

Summit Racing Equipment swooped into the 2024 SEMA Show with a high-performance CNC billet intake manifold that’s specially designed for LS engines. The manifold is targeted to performance-oriented drivers and racing professionals that are seeking more power and efficiency from their engine. The Summit intake manifold is robust, and it’s capable of handling 2,000 horsepower and more than 300 psi of boost.

The manifold’s resistance to warping and deformation is due in part to the use of high-quality billet aluminum, thus making performance and reliability consistent during the most demanding use. Perhaps one of the most notable features of this intake manifold is that it has fitment for throttle bodies as large as 102 mm. This allows for a huge volume of airflow into the engine, which translates to improved horsepower, torque, and throttle response.

Also, the manifold is manufactured with removable runners. This allows for a level of customization, which means precise tuning and optimization can be geared toward a specific engine configuration and desired performance objectives. Because of its flexibility, it can be used in applications ranging from improving street performance to maximizing power output in racing scenarios. Summit Racing offers this intake manifold as a complete kit. It includes all necessary hardware components, gaskets, and an -8 AN fuel rail installation kit. This makes installation easy and hassle-free for DIYers or experienced mechanics. The manifold works with LS1, LS2, and LS6 engines using cathedral-port cylinder heads. Thus, it covers a very broad range of popular performance vehicles.

The manifold is designed to be a direct replacement for the factory intake manifold. It offers significant performance and durability upgrades and covers a wide operating range from 1,800 to  7,000 rpm.
