After crossing all the Is and dotting all the Ts, we can finally announce the winner of the EngineLabs Giveaway 632 cubic-inch big-block Chevy engine. And it is…

Dylan Stoffer from northeast Ohio.

To say Dylan is excited is an understatement, as several of us from the team have talked to him, and we have no doubt this engine is going to a truly good home. “I have been watching my dad race his Nova since I was a kid, so no surprise I got into it as well,” he says.

I would have never dreamed I would win, as I never have such luck. — Dylan Stoffer

Watching his dad and being around racing led him to buy a 1997 S10 with a stock 350 small-block and a Turbo 350 transmission about six years ago. Since then, he’s been slowly building it into the truck he wants. And now, well, it looks like we might have altered the course of that truck’s journey.

EngineLabs Giveaway Winner Announced
The winner of the 2025 EngineLabs Giveaway, presented by Summit Racing, has been announced. Mr. Dylan Stoffer of Ohio is the lucky entrant who will be taking home this amazing engine.

We thought it might be cool to ask Dylan a few questions to share with everyone, so that we can ease the sting of not winning it by getting to know the lucky guy who did win it.

EL: When/where did you enter the giveaway?

DS: I entered the giveaway on February 7th from my living room.  My dad sent me a link and said he was entering, and I should as well.

EL: Did you ever expect to actually win the engine?

DS: No, I would have never dreamed I would win, as I never have such luck.

EL: Have you come up with any plans or ideas for what to do with the engine?

DS: I am going to look for a Chevy Silverado with high mileage and motor swap it is the plan so far.  My other thought was to put it in the S10 that I have been building, but I am not sure what kind of fitment issues that would entail.

EL: In a dream world, what would you put the 632 in?

DS: I would love to put it into a second-generation C10

EL: What’s the most powerful or fastest thing you’ve driven and/or owned up until now?

DS: That’s definitely my Chevy S10.  It runs 11.40s at around 113 mph.

EL: Do you think you’ll leave the engine as is, or will you mess with it at all?

DS: No, I am not going to mess with it, as 962 horsepower is plenty for me.

Another cool thing is that Dylan and his dad have opted for a road trip to Bullet Racing Engines to meet Nick and pick up the engine in person, and get shown around the Bullet Racing Engines shop. We’re all excited to see what Dylan ends up putting the engine in, and following the project’s progress!

The EngineLabs Giveaway, presented by Summit Racing, took some of the newest and coolest big-block Chevy parts, and, with the help of Nick Bacalis of Bullet Racing Engines, assembled them into an absolutely amazing pump-gas 632 cubic-inch street monster live on the PRI Show floor, which made 962 horsepower on 93 octane gas on the engine dyno..
