Edelbrock is excited to offer a new Performer-Plus camshaft for use with throttle-body style Electronic Fuel Injection systems on a small-block Chevrolet.
Edelbrock Performer-Plus camshafts feature profiles that deliver a major improvement in throttle response and torque from off-idle to 5,500 rpm. They are smooth idling camshafts for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s.
The new Performer-Plus camshaft (#2117) is designed specifically for use with 1957-86 Chevrolet 283-400 V8 engines with Edelbrock’s E-Street EFI system and similar throttle body style electronic fuel injection systems. This camshaft features a custom profile that will provide exceptional vacuum at idle for power brakes and other vacuum powered accessories when used on an electronic fuel injected engine. This camshaft includes hydraulic flat tappet lifters, assembly lube and instructions. In testing, this camshaft produced 338 hp and 389 ft-lbs. of torque when matched with Performer EPS intake manifold (#2701), E-Street cylinder heads (#5089) and E-Street EFI system (#3600).
