Back on September 3rd, the King County, North Carolina Police Department issued warrants in connection with the theft of approximately $445,000 worth of engines and parts from Buck Racing on June 19th.

Those warrants were issued for Oklahoma residents Jerry Clyde Stephenson, Jr. (age 46) and Joshua Wayne Montgomery (age 20). Both were charged with felony breaking and entering, conspiracy to break and enter a building and commit larceny, aid and abet felony larceny, felony damage to a computer system, felony possession of stolen property, and injury to real property, larceny after breaking and entering.

The final suspect — Joshua Wayne Montgomery — turned himself in Wednesday, September 16th, and at this point authorities have all four suspects in the burglary in custody. No word on what took Montgomery so long to turn himself in.

On September 3rd, Jerry Clyde Stephenson, Jr. was taken into custody by the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and was found — get this — in the parking lot at the jail. He claims he was about to turn himself in to authorities, but they got him first.

And his reported final words, according to Oklahoma’s News On 6? “It’s nice weather in Oklahoma.”

The News On 6 report also says Stephenson has been linked to burglary rings in the past as well, including millions of dollars in cash and merchandise, along with ATM thefts.

Two previous suspects — Ronnie Dale Pollard, Jr. and Christopher P. Goodman — were already in custody. Pollard was arrested on August 20th and Goodman turned himself in to the Stokes County, North Carolina Sheriff’s Office on August 24th.

At this point, there do not seem to be any other suspects on the radar in this case, and unfortunately there has been no information released on whether any of the stolen parts have been located.
