Every enthusiast, from the rookie with his first hot rod to the 40-year veteran, has known the pure frustration of a header installation. It’s often one of the most aggravating jobs on a build. Those days, however, may be in the past thanks to the new Lemons Motor Mount Stands debuting at SEMA 2025.

The Core Problem

Let’s face it, long-tube headers are trying to occupy a space where the factory engineers never, ever considered putting them. The tubes are always in a fight with steering components, driveline parts, or other obstacles. This is what makes the new Lemons Headers stand as a true problem-solver.

Lemons Motor Mount Stands: Total Control

These heavy-duty components, nicknamed “Jimmy Mounts,” give you precise control over the engine’s final position. The idea came from “Jimmy,” a Lemons employee with 60 years of racing and car-building experience. As company founder Chuck MacDougal said, “He’d thought it through from a racers’ and builders’ point of view.” The system uses slotted bases and a jack-screw center post to provide controlled movement in every direction.

The “Jimmy Mount” Specs

This isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” bracket. The slotted base allows for up to one inch of fore-and-aft adjustment and one inch of side-to-side adjustment. The jack-screw center post provides 1.5 inches of vertical movement. This massive range is the key to creating clearance. They are also built for serious power, rated for applications up to and well beyond 1,800 horsepower.

More Than Just Header Fitment

You can also perfectly dial in your driveline angle, center the engine in the bay for a clean look, and even improve weight distribution and chassis response by placing the engine exactly where you want it. The Lemons Motor Mount Stands are welded, laser-cut steel, powder-coated in Lemons Yellow, and come with Grade 8 hardware, ready to bolt to common clamshell-style engine mounts.
