The foundation is a 5.9-liter or 6.7-liter core that is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and machined using CNC equipment. Expert technicians assemble the engines in D&J’s clean room, verifying critical measurements like bearing clearances and piston protrusion. But the real value is in the upgrades. The cylinder heads are remanufactured with heavy-duty valve seats and bronze guides, and every Ready Run Precision Engine is clamped down with ARP2000 head studs.
They didn’t skimp on the ancillaries, either. Standard equipment includes a Fluidampr harmonic balancer and a BD Killer Grid Heater Upgrade to eliminate those factory bolts that are prone to falling into the intake. The fuel system is all BD Diesel, featuring a remanufactured CP3 pump and injectors tested on a Bosch 815 bench. Even the air management is sorted, with VSR-balanced remanufactured Holset turbos and a BD high-silicon ductile iron exhaust manifold.
