It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and nowhere is that more the case than when modifying a vehicle for performance use. No matter how many times you call a company’s tech line and ask how to install a particular product that you’ve purchased, having a set of pictures detailing what it should look like when all completed is worth more than anything they can tell you over a long-distance phone call.
Perhaps nowhere is this more helpful than in the case of engine accessories, as the ones that are being installed onto the car may often have different bracketry than the stock components. In the case of GZ Motorsports and their wide array of vacuum pumps, alternators, and ancillary equipment, it’s helpful to go and check out their sample installations page on their website, where all sorts of different engine combinations are displayed in full color so that you can get an idea of how your completed installation should appear.
All different types of installs are shown, from small- and big-block Chevrolet to LS engines to small- and big-block Ford, Pontiac, along with small- and big-block Mopar. Naturally-aspirated, supercharged, non-stock accessories – it’s all covered here.
Not only do they list the components used in each installation, some installations have multiple images and other information provided to give you a hand when it comes time to set up your own car. We wish more manufacturers would do this, as it appears to be very helpful.
