It’s been a little while since we shared any video out of Steve Morris’ horsepower factory, where insane powerplants are the specialty, but when we say this one with not one, but two ProCharger F-1X blowers bolted up, we couldn’t keep close the browser and keep it to ourselves.

This monster powerplant being dyno tested at the Steve Morris Racing Engines shop belongs to longtime doorslammer ace and Ford diehard “Mustang Mike” Modeste, who’s had his Outlaw Drag Radial ride parked the last couple of seasons while he assists the Bruder Brothers in their X275 domination.

Naturally, this a Big Block Ford powerplant of undisclosed displacement, with BigStuff3 fuel injection, a Marcella sheet metal intake manifold, Atomizer injectors, and an LSM billet block that’s no doubt stuffed full of high-end, go fast goodies. And of course, there’s the pair of F-1X superchargers — the latest in ProCharger’s line of race blowers that took the X275 world by storm last season — delivering enough boost to suck the air right out of the building.

Morris and Modeste encounter some minor woes during the two dyno pulls, namely an oil leak and a burnt intake gasket, but they do manage to rag out a pretty stout 2,836 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 33.7 pounds of boost – while making 2,104.2 ft-lbs. of torque at 7,036 rpm and 31.40 pounds of boost.
