PRW’s PQx High Flow Billet Aluminum Electric Racing Water Pump

Need better cooling for your small or big-block Chevrolet or Ford engine? A water pump that can meet the rigorous demands of racing in all forms is here. PRW Industries recently released a bolt-on, CNC-machined water pump design that’s been tested over 2,700 hours continuously. Check it out!

Official Release:

PRW Industries, a leading manufacturer of high performance engine components, is excited to introduce their new lightweight street/strip PQx High Flow Billet Aluminum Electric Racing Water Pump. The new pump is designed to equalize the flow into both sides of the engine with smooth radii and transitions. The pump housing and elbows are CNC machined from high grade billet aluminum with “O”-ring seals at each connection.

The impeller is a multi-vane, axial design that efficiently pumps the water through the engine with no cavitation. The 100 watt motor draws less than nine amps on a 12 volt system with continuous flow of over 50 gallons per minute in a closed system through PRW’s extensive testing. In fact, the motor tested to over 2,700 continuous hours – well over 100,000 miles of reliable cooling performance. An inlet fitting is supplied with each pump and seals with an “O”- ring for a secure connection. PRW offers a variety of inlet sizes and lengths to match your application. Each Polished Billet Aluminum Electric Pump is supplied with gaskets, mounting hardware and wiring connector. Pumps for most domestic V8 applications and universal pumps are available for custom application from your Performance Quotient dealer.

There is also a full line of universal water pump fittings available for the PQx High Flow Billet Aluminum Electric Racing Water Pump or another that is set up the same. They are available in several different sizes, with NPT threads on one end and a smooth hose nipple on the other, to accommodate conventional radiator hoses. These adapters are available in a clear-anodized finish only.

Features:

  • Equalized flow with smooth internal radii
  • 35 GPM design
  • Multi-vane axial design
  • Draws less than nine amps
  • Applications for small and big-block Ford and Chevrolet engines
