New from Burns Stainless – Gill Sensors and Controls technology. One of the new products is the Oil Contamination Sensor, which uses a magnetic probe to pick up ferric particles in an oiling system. See more details below.
Official Release:
Burns Stainless is pleased to introduce new innovative sensor technology to the North American market. Gill Sensor and Controls is currently a supplier to European motorsports including Formula One, Rally Car and the World Endurance Championships. Gill’s sensors include solid state liquid level sensors, oil condition sensors and highly accurate ultrasonic fuel flow meters.
The Gill Oil Contamination Sensor is an innovative product capable of real-time monitoring of ferric particles and water intrusion in an oil supply. The sensor system uses a magnetic probe to capture ferric particles and using Gill’s proprietary inductive technology, measures the accumulation of both fine and coarse particles in the oil supply providing engineers and technicians the earliest possible warning of component failure.
“Gill is excited to be working with Burns Stainless, to introduce our F1-proven sensing technology to their North American customers providing engineers with the tools to win races,” says Paul Cain of Gill Sensors and Controls. “Burns Stainless has earned a reputation for delivering more power through properly engineered exhaust systems. Our partnership now expands that expertise to sensing solutions in the North American motorsports industry.”
