Superchargers installed on engines with the distributor located at the rear of the block often create issues that can only be addressed by providing more space between the blower and distributor. While having no real effect on performance or fitment, many street and show builders want as much blower visibility as possible, ie., blower protruding through the hood. Addressing the first concern, BDS spacer plates provide an additional 2” of clearance between the distributor and the blower. And, in the case of appearance that same spacer dramatically enhances the visual impact of the blower. BDS spacer plates are available for 6-71 through 10-71 blowers and 14-71 units with long bottom openings. Each plate is machined in house at BDS from a solid block of 6061T6 billet aluminum and recessed on the top side for a for an O-ring seal. BDS 2” spacer plates are shipped fully polished and retail for just $400.00.
