Leading fastener manufacturer ARP has developed an elegant, reliable solution for installing fan spacers that are employed to facilitate the removal of clutch fans or simply position a “direct drive” fan closer to the radiator for optimum cooling. With the introduction of 60 new stud kits,
which come in sizes from 1.250″ to 4.500″ in length (in 0.250″ increments) ARP has most every spacer covered.

Available in polished stainless steel or black oxide finished 8740 chrome moly, they are nominally rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength and far superior to even Grade 8 hardware—an important safety consideration for securing a fast-spinning fan.

A choice of hex or 12-point nuts is offered, with all kits also including washers. The 5/16-24 studs come in 4-packs, and can likely be employed for a variety of applications. All are manufactured in-house at ARP’s ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 registered California facilities to assure optimum quality.
