Accufab is now offering selected Edelbrock EFI intake manifolds equipped with Accufab throttle bodies for your Chevy Small Block. These will be complete intake manifold kits, a system, assembled by Accufab for high performance capabilities. Accufab has been offering high performance and state of the art EFI throttle bodies for over 23 years. Our customers include those that just want more performance for their street car up to professional racers demanding ultimate performance and reliability.

Accufab throttle bodies have been bolted on every kind of vehicle imaginable, from street cars, street rods, ski boats, off-shore race boats, land speed record streamliners, Pro Mod drag cars, bracket cars, Index cars, heads-up drag radial cars, the list goes on and on. Of course, when we say that our throttle bodies have been bolted on these vehicles, what we mean is that our product was bolted on to the customer’s intake manifold.

Accufab does not build intake manifolds, and over the years, we have seen pretty much every style of intake manifold you can imagine. Some were excellent, well designed manifolds, some were okay, and some were, well, not that good, and that included some fabricated sheet metal intakes. They looked great but not all of them had equal air distribution to all cylinders, and, they cost an arm and a leg. To see one of our 6061-T6 billet aluminum throttle bodies attached to an inferior intake manifold was, to put it mildly, distressing. Plus, we knew the customer was not getting all the value out of our product.

We have always felt that Edelbrock intake manifolds are the best in their field, designed correctly, flow-bench and dyno tested, and reasonably priced. Plus, they FIT the engine they were designed for. This is the 21st Century and we are in the computer age. With street and race engines, this can also mean we are in the age of Electronic Fuel Injection, EFI for short. For the most part, these are racing manifold systems, based on the Edelbrock Victor Jr., and Super Victor intake manifolds, designed and priced for the Sportsman Racers, or for the enthusiasts that wants more power and reliability for his ski boat. A merger of engineering from both Edelbrock and Accufab.
